Keeping up with LSU Football's committed recruits
This weekend gave the LSU Football program its first opportunity to host recruits where the Tigers were able to get several commits onto campus. The Tigers should likely see all of its commits in Baton Rouge this fall, especially the highest ranked recruits. While every LSU Commit didn't make their way to the game, a few turned in some jaw dropping plays on the gridiron.
At this point, Bryce Underwood gets more impressive every time he touches the field. Last week it was Underwood impressing with his legs this week, he was surgical as a passer.
LSU's second highest ranked recruit DJ Pickett will visit Baton Rouge three times this season but, this weekend it was his ability as a cornerback that had Tigers fans in awe. Given all of LSU's struggles in the secondary, getting a player like DJ Pickett into the room will be a breath of fresh air.
Top 2026 recruiting target Lamar Brown made his way to Baton Rouge, the University Labs product is ranked by On3 as the Nation's fifth-best player and could easily play either offensive line or defensive line at LSU.
Harlem Berry didn't make it into town this weekend but, JT Lindsey LSU's talented four-star commit at running back did make it to town and got a picture on the field with Brian Kelly.
Keep stacking massive weekends and home wins
The LSU Football team still has a shot at the Nation's top recruiting class while they hold the Nation's third ranked class currently. The best chance at pushing this class over the top is by continuing to host these massive recruiting weekends. The key is LSU has to look impressive during these visits as the weekends could backfire like we saw at Florida when Miami demolished the Gators. Death Valley is one of the coolest places to play and when the Tigers play with swagger there is no where cooler to play to recruits.
