The LSU Football team currently leads Nicholls State 16-7 as the Tigers seek out their first win of the season. The main goals of this game are to get a win, get the underclassmen some experience, and to stay healthy. The injury bug has attacked the Tigers to start the season as John Emery Jr tore his ACL, Chris Hilton Jr and Kyle Parker have missed most of two games with injuries, and as Garrett Dellinger suffered a concusion.

After looking like a first-round draft pick against USC last weekend, everyone was excited to see more of Kyren Lacy. Early in the second quarter, Kyren Lacy came down awkwardly going after a deep ball and headed into the tent. This caused everyone in Tiger Stadium to hold their breath but a few plays later Kyren Lacy returned.

Lacy then caught a pass from Garrett Nussmeier, made a push towards the endzone and made an incredible leaping effort to score the touchdown. The excitement turned to fear as Lacy laid in the endzone as the game went into the commercial break.

According to the broadcast, the trainers were working on Lacy's Ankle as his ankle and shin were bleeding. Given that LSU should be able to win this game with the reserves, we likely shouldn't see Lacy for the rest of the game as his health is important.

If Lacy doesn't return we'll see a massive chunk of the snaps at receiver split between CJ Daniels, Aaron Anderson, Zavion Thomas, and Shelton Sampson. Given how important Lacy is to the team's success we'll need to ensure he's fully healthy.
