LSU baseball: What’s different about the Tigers as they begin the 2024 season

The 2024 opening series in Baton Rouge

LSU baseball begins the season with a four-game series at Alex Box Stadium in Baton Rouge. VMI and Central Arkansas are in town with Johnson’s Tigers for a round-robin. The four-day slate is below.

  • Friday, February 16 at 2 p.m. CT vs. VMI
  • Saturday, February 17 at 1 p.m. CT vs. Central Arkansas
  • Sunday, February 18 at 1 p.m. CT vs. VMI
  • Monday, February 19 at 2 p.m. CT vs. Central Arkansas

Hurd will take the ball this afternoon and lead LSU’s efforts to defend their College World Series title. Holman is slated to start on Saturday, and Johnson has yet to announce his pitchers for the rest of President’s Day weekend.

All four games are available to fans via SEC Network+.
