The Bye Week doesn't mean that work stops for the LSU Football team especially on the recruiting trail. This weekend will be a massive weekend of hosting official visits, while the coaching staff can use the extra time to catch up on recruiting game film. While offers while be flying out to recruits, the coaching staff is continuing to work on some of the relationships they've already built.

The 2025 class is pretty much set aside from flips which makes building out the 2026 and 2027 recruiting classes the top priority. The LSU football team currently has the ninth ranked recruiting class in the 2026 cycle but, that will change as LSU has just four commits all of which are from in-state players.

One of the out of state players LSU has started to make a push with is Texas native Isaiah Williams. Williams is a safety recruit, ranked as a top-40 safety recruit by every recruiting service while Rivals ranks him the highest at 23rd. The Tigers have done a good enough job thus far as Williams included LSU in his final five.

The Tigers are already set up pretty nicely as two of the top four safety recruits in the class are from Louisiana including Aiden Hall who has already committed to the LSU Tigers. Even if LSU leaves the class with both in-state stars, landing Williams would only be a help as you can truly never have too many defensive backs.
