While National Signing Day for recruits in the 2026 recruiting class isn't coming up any time soon, its always important to get a great jump on the recruiting trail. Early on, LSU has done a great job with reeling in hometown talent to build the 2026 recruiting class. The Tigers currently hold commitments from three in-state recruits in the class Rich Anderson, Jakai Anderson, and Jalan Chapman.

The Tigers have now added their fourth commitment coming from in-state safety Aiden Hall.

Hall is one of the most coveted recruits in the 2026 recruiting class ranked by On3 as the 51st-best player in the class, the fifth-ranked safety, and the sixth-ranked player in Louisiana. Hall plays at Edna Karr where LSU landed commitments from 2025 recruit TaRon Francis, 2026 recruit Richard Anderson, and the school also produced LSU receiver Aaron Anderson in a long list of impactful college football stars.

The Tigers are in an incredible spot to land an elite signing class in the 2026 cycle thanks to the loaded talent pool in Louisiana. Friday saw LSU join the finalist list for elite in-state safety Blaine Bradford who could form a dynamic duo with Hall. The Tigers will look to lure in two-five stars in the trenches with top overall recruit defensive tackle Jahkeem Stewart and two-way star Lamar Brown who's ranked the fifth best player in the class.

Brian Kelly deserves a ton of credit for his success in the state

When Brian Kelly was hired, he received a ton of hate for "faking a southern accent" and his dances with recruits. Everyone said a Northerner wouldn't be able to keep the elite talent in the state which Kelly has quickly dispelled. The fear that LSU's neighbors would come in and pick out the most elite talent has been squashed as Brian Kelly continues to stack elite signing classes.
