The LSU Football team has landed it's first 2025 commitment of the summer as interior offensive lineman Carius Curne commits to LSU. The Guard is ranked as the top interior offensive lineman in the class and the 25th ranked player in the class according to On3. Curne chose LSU Football over in-state Arkansas and Missouri.

Landing Curne is a massive addition to LSU Football's second ranked recruiting class. The Tigers now have five top-100 commitments on the offensive side of the football. The Tigers will likely have to replace four starters on the offensive line after this season and they'll do it with three top-100 recruits in Curne, Tyler Miller, and Devin Harper.

The LSU Football team is still in a great place with several top offensive linemen as they continue to pursue offensive tackles. Micah DeBose is a player that LSU has been high on and a decision may come soon as he takes visits to in-state Alabama and Ohio State. The Tigers are also in a great spot to potentially flip Florida State commit Solomon Thomas as he came to Baton Rouge the opening weekend of the summer.

The LSU Football program is doing an incredible job with this recruiting class and they have a serious shot at unseating Ohio State landing the Nation's top recruiting class. LSU Targets Damien Shanklin, Xavier Ukponu, Jaime Ffrench, and Zion Williams all will commit in the upcoming months which could put LSU in the drivers seat to land the top class.

A few key focuses remaining for LSU on the recruiting trail

The LSU Football team has built a great foundation in this recruiting class with three top offensive linemen, the Nation's top quarterback, and the best running back in the class. The biggest needs currently are at defensive back, wide receiver, and edge rusher. The Tigers continue to be in play for three five star receivers while Corey Raymond has LSU at the top of the list for defensive backs like DJ Pickett, CJ Jimcoily, and Dante Alexander. Depending how LSU finishes out this class, LSU may end up signing a historic recruiting class.
