5 Star LSU Target Jaime Ffrench gives update on where LSU stands in his recruitment
The LSU Tigers were already pushing hard for former five-Star Alabama Commit Wide Receiver Jaime Ffrench. Now that Dakorien Moore has de-committed and appears headed to the Texas Long Horns Ffrench has become an even bigger target for the LSU Tigers. The Five-Star is ranked as the Nation's fourth best receiver and the 25th ranked player overall.
The On3 Elite NIL Series this week will bring plenty of recruiting updates and shifts as the Nation's top players convene in Nashville with several top recruits making their commitments. Among the players there is Jaime Ffrench who gave the following update on where team's stand in his recruitment:
"Texas is Number One, LSU is Number Two, and Miami is Number Three."
- Jaime Ffrench
While LSU being behind Texas isn't the most ideal it's a massive improvement from where LSU once stood. The LSU Tigers may also be able to vault Texas as Ffrench will be coming in for a visit on May 31st. There will be no shortage of star power in Baton Rouge this weekend as Ffrench will be joined by Five-Star defensive back DJ Pickett, Five-Star Guard Solomon Thomas, Five-Star WR Kaliq Lockett, and several other top recruiting targets.
If LSU loses out on Ffrench with the Texas Longhorns landing him and Dakorien Moore than the LSU Tigers may become the top landing spot for Kaliq Lockett. Lockett once appeared headed to Texas however, playing alongside Bryce Underwood and being the top receiving add in LSU's signing class may be the better option as opposed to joining two five-star receiver.
Massive recruiting weekend for LSU Football
This week LSU got the rest of it's 2024 signing class on campus as well as it's incoming Spring Transfers. Now with summer workouts begining LSU will get the first summer visit from several of their biggest recruiting targets and should look to take advantage of it. The biggest names to watch this weekend are DJ Pickett, Jaime Ffrench, and Kaliq Lockett as LSU seems firmly in the mix for the three five-star recruits.
