LSU Football sells most season tickets since 2017 while new video board is unveiled

There is a ton of excitement around this LSU Football team as they head into the 2024 season. Fans have every reason to be excited as LSU has an exciting roster while the SEC has expanded adding Texas and Oklahoma into the mix. Brian Kelly also heads into his third season at LSU which has been a successful year at every program he's coached at.

The LSU Football team sold out its entire season ticket offering of 71,250 tickets which is the most LSU has sold since 2017. Over the past nine years, LSU has sold 70,000 or more season tickets six times according to Brett McMurphy.

A massive part of the excitement around the LSU Football program is the 100-year anniversary of Tiger Stadium. Heading into the 100th year of Tiger Stadium, there are a ton of upgrades coming to the stadium, one of which is a massive new video board. 104.5 ESPN shared an inside look at the new video board on Twitter and its incredible.

The screen is more than double the size of the previous board and, the technology will be among the best in the country. Next to the video board on both sides are massive speaker towers which will improve the in-stadium audio.

On Field results need to match the festivities this year

Given all of the effort put into improving the stadium and all of the events planned to honor the festivities will be incredible. There is a ton of excitement heading into the season and if the team performs to the expectations of the fanbase this could be a truly special season. The expanded 12-team College Football Playoff gives the team some added wiggle room and a home Playoff Game in Tiger Stadium would be the cherry on top.
