The LSU Football team currently holds the Nation's second-ranked recruiting class trailing only Ohio State. As the Summer nears we'll continue to see Brian Kelly and his staff push for some of the Nation's most elite talent to fill out this recruiting class. LSU Football is positioned well to land a few more of the Nation's top prospects with these players as the most notable names to watch this summer.

Jaime Ffrench - Five Star - Wide Receiver

The former Alabama Commit is the Nation's 23rd-best player overall while ranking as the fifth-best receiver. Since Ffrench de-committed from Alabama, LSU has pushed hard for Ffrench with Joe Sloan and Cortez Hankton visiting him at his school. The LSU Football team continues its push, hosting Ffrench for the Spring Game, and will host him again on an official visit on June 1st.

The LSU staff is going to push hard to land Jaime Ffrench and they'll have a great chance as they can offer him more than any other school. The LSU Football team offers Ffrench the chance to play alongside the nation's top quarterback in Bryce Underwood, running back in Harlem Berry, and Wide Receiver Dakorien Moore if he doesn't flip. The LSU Football team has also sent some of the best wide receivers into the NFL Draft with Justin Jefferson, Ja'Marr Chase, Odell Beckham Jr, Malik Nabers, and Brian Thomas Jr among others.

DJ Pickett - Five Star - Cornerback

The LSU Football team is looking to once again become DBU after a few down years on the defensive side of the football. A start would be landing five-star defensive back DJ Pickett the nation's sixth-ranked recruit and the second-ranked cornerback. The Florida Native has named five finalists in LSU, Oregon, Georgia, Michigan, and Miami.

Pickett is planning to commit in October giving the LSU Football team plenty of time to land DJ Pickett. The key player for LSU in landing Pickett is secondary coach Corey Raymond who has made LSU a serious contender in this race after Florida relieved him of his duties. If the LSU Tigers can land Pickett, they'll see a similar influx of defensive talent like they saw when Bryce Underwood committed bringing in offensive talent.

Kaliq Lockett - Five Star - Wide Receiver

While the LSU Football team has a solid class loaded with offensive talent, they're pushing very hard for Texas Native Kaliq Lockett. Lockett is the nation's second-ranked wide receiver behind LSU commit Dakorien Moore, and is ranked as the 14th overall recruit in the class.

The standout wide receiver has already started building bonds with LSU Commits playing on Fleaux 7 on 7 alongside Harlem Berry, Bryce Underwood, and TaRon Francis among others. The LSU Staff has done their best to impress Lockett as he visited among a talented group for the Spring Game while Lockett expressed excitement about the possibility of playing with this group.

Micah DeBose - Four Star - Interior Offensive Line

The LSU Football team may undergo a ton of changes on the offensive line next off-season as four of the five starting linemen will be draft-eligible. The former Georgia Commit is the eighth-ranked interior offensive lineman and the 107th-ranked player overall. While DeBose is listed as a guard, he has the size and skill to play either tackle or guard.

LSU is one of the seeming front runners in the race for Micah DeBose as both in-state schools Alabama and Auburn push against LSU. Landing DeBose would make an incredible offensive line class for LSU even better as he'd join top-100 recruits Tyler Miller and Devin Harper.

James Simon - Four Star - Running Back

The LSU Football team has done an incredible job keeping in-state talent at home landing seven of the top ten players in the state. LSU can make it eight if they land James Simon who's ranked as the fourth player in the state and the nation's ninth-ranked running back. The race for Simon once seemed like LSU's to lose but, it seems that several other SEC schools have climbed back into the race.

The LSU Football team already has a strong group at running back in the 2025 class with top running back Harlem Berry and four-star in-state Running Back JT Lindsey. Simon is seemingly nearing a decision between LSU, Alabama, Texas, Texas A&M, and Notre Dame.
