LSU held their annual Pro Day and Heisman Trophy winner Jayden Daniels and star wide receive Malik Nabers showed up and showed out. Both players did a lot to help raise their draft stock and look to hopefully both be top-10 picks in this year's NFL Draft.

After not throwing at the NFL Combine, opting to showcase his arm talents at LSU's Pro Day, Daniels completed 52 of his 56 passes with the majority of his misses being on the deep ball. Even though he missed deep throws, Daniels still completed passes down the field, including his last one to Nabers to end in celebration between the two.

Daniels has consistently been in the conversation as a top-3 quarterback going within the first three picks of the draft. With it looking like Caleb Williams is a lock for the first overall pick, Daniels now battles for the number two spot with surprise contender J.J. McCarthy who also just competed in Michigan's Pro Day.

However, some analysts are giving Daniels high praise for his Pro Day performance, with Daniels even drawing comparisons to last year's No. 2 overall pick and NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year CJ Stroud. Now Daniels has also drawn concern from scouts based on his size coming in at only 210 pounds, but NFL Analyst Louis Riddick says those concerns should be put to bed after his Pro Day performance.

The Heisman Trophy winner was not only busy on the field, but in private meetings as well. Again, Daniels winner chose not to have private meetings with teams at the NFL Combine but chose to wait till his Pro Day. According to his agent Ron Butler and NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport, Daniels had set meetings with the Patriots, Commanders, Giants, Vikings, Broncos, and Raiders.

Daniels was not the only one who put on a showing at the LSU Pro Day. Malik Nabers, Daniels' favorite target throughout the season, also showed up and showed out. Nabers has been in a heated WR1 debate with Ohio State receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. and the debate has only gotten hotter with Nabers performance at his pro day.

Neither Harrison nor Nabers chose to work out at the combine, but Nabers chose to participate in his pro day which has paid off for him greatly. Not only is there talk about Nabers passing Harrison as the top receiver in the draft, but he is also drawing comparisons to former LSU receiver and Bengal star receiver Jamar Chase.

While his size and build are nothing out of the ordinary, Nabers' workout numbers are what left scouts impressed. The Louisiana native recorded a 42-inch vertical jump which would have been in the top five among all positions at the Combine. However, what was more impressive was his 40-yard dash time. Nabers ran a 4.35 and 4.40, unofficial times of course, but definitely is still impressive.

Could Daniels be the next CJ Stroud and Nabers be the next Jamarr Chase? All of that is still yet to be seen as they have to see where they go in the draft first. Both players are expected to be started in their rookie seasons, it is just a matter of which team they will be starting for.
