LSU Tigers great Jalen Mills gets another shot in the NFL
This off-season, Jalen Mills signed a one year contract with the New York Giants after spending the last three seasons with the New England Patriots. It was an exciting deal as Mills was joining a team that needed help in the secondary while he'd join fellow Tigers Malik Nabers and Cordale Flott. Unfortunately, Mills didn't get to the start of the season with the Giants as he was released from the Non-Football Injury list.
The Green Goblin lands in New York like in Spiderman and he lands with a team that best fits his hair color as he's signed a deal to join the New York Jets practice squad.
While he won't start off on the active roster right away, this move gives Mills a chance to get back into game shape and the chance to chase another Super Bowl as he joins a very solid New York Jets team.
The move to the New York Jets teams Mills up with a fellow Tiger in Jarrick Bernard-Converse who like Mills has been asked to play both Safety and Cornerback.
There is also a familiarity between Mills and the Jets front office as Jets General Manager Joe Douglas was a front office executive in Philadelphia before becoming the Jets head coach.
