LSU will get the best wide receiver in the 2027 Class on Campus this Weekend
The LSU Football team is coming off one of its busiest recruiting weekends of the year and this weekend should have another impressive class of recruits heading to Tiger Stadium. While the 2025 focus at this point is protecting the commits from flipping and flipping some recruits to LSU, these weekends are massive for building the 2026 and 2027 recruiting classes.
This weekend among the 2027 recruits visiting for the South Alabama game is Ethan "Boobie" Feaster. Ethan Feaster is ranked by On3 as the 4th ranked recruit in the 2027 class, 24/7 ranks him as the eighth overall recruit, and Rivals pegs him the 4th best player in the class as well.
The Tigers have been one of the teams recruiting Feaster for a long time despite his signing day being nearly three years away. The Tigers have hosted Feaster a few times for camps and on recruiting visits including this summer.
While LSU will be going up against in-state schools like Texas and Texas A&M, there are a few reasons that LSU could be the choice when Feaster decides to commit. For starters, the LSU Football team will seemingly have a pick between some of the best quarterbacks in the class including the top ranked recruit and quarterback Elijah Haven. There's also the fact that Feaster seemingly has LSU at or near the top of his list and has sported LSU gear at camps and 7on7 tournaments.
Pitching Wide Receivers for LSU should be a walk in the park
If LSU should dominate recruiting any position, it should be the wide receiver position. Cortez Hankton and the recruiting staff can simply point to Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr as guys they've developed into NFL stars. They can also point to guys like Odell Beckham Jr, Jarvis Landry, Justin Jefferson, and Ja'Marr Chase as superstars who have come through the building. To the 2026 and 2027 recruits, LSU can pitch that these recruits will spend most of their career catching passes from the Nation's top ranked quarterback Bryce Underwood.
