Predicting LSU Football's results week-by-week in 2024: LSU contends for the Playoffs
Week 4 - Home Vs UCLA Bruins
The LSU Tigers should once again have their way with a UCLA team that has gone through a ton of turnover. Chip Kelly is gone, the Bruins are now in the Big Ten, and after going 8-5 Five-Star Quarterback Dante Moore departs for Oregon. Most likely eight of UCLA's starters will be incoming transfers whole Ethan Garbers takes over the Bruins offense full-time.
Week 5 - Home Vs South Alabama Jaguars
The LSU Tigers will once again face a new head coach, as former South Alabama head coach Kane Wommack is now Alabama's defensive coordinator. The Jaguars were a middle of the road team going 7-6 with some impressive wins and some head scratching losses. The Jaguars will be a competitive team once again but, LSU's depth and strengths in the trenches make this game one of the easier games on LSU's schedule.
Week 6 - Home vs Ole Miss Rebels
This will be one of LSU's toughest games of the season as the Rebels enter the season ranked 6th in the AP Poll. The LSU Football team will have one massive advantage as they'll come off of the bye week while Ole Miss will be their seventh game in seven weeks. I think LSU comes out on top as the staff will have two weeks to gameplan and the game is at home but, it'll be tough to pull off.
