Ranking the LSU Football players with highest NIL valuations
Ever since the NCAA changed its stance on Name, Image, and Likeness College Football players have been able to earn money for the first time. While some programs don't use NIL the right way, when done properly some of the sponsorships that result from these deals are awesome to see. The LSU Football program has some players with incredible NIL Valuations and some really cool sponsorships.
5. CJ Daniels - $453,000
As one of the newcomers to the LSU Football team, Daniels has missed out on some of the bigger deals members of the team have done. When scrolling social media, you won't find many posts from Daniels about NIL Deals except for a merchandise post from his time at Liberty. The valuation likely is due to money he received when he transferred which Liberty Coach Jamey Chadwell speculated was $300,000, a car, and an apartment.
4. Harold Perkins - $527,000
Harold Perkins Jr not ranking higher on this list was a little bit of a shock but, considering how focused on football everyone says he is it makes sense. Perkins was a part of EA College Football as well as signing deals with Gordon McKernan Injury Attorneys and was a part of the group that signed a deal with Sunshine Quality Solutions. Perkins does have his own website where he sells merchandise which is a great approach to handling his NIL.
3. Emery Jones Jr - $535,000
The LSU Football team has the Nation's best offensive tackle duo and the NIL valuations reflect that. Jones was one of the players who inked NIL Deals with Sunshine Quality solutions and Gordon McKernan but, he's done some NIL deals different from the rest. Jones inked deals with Williams Architecture and some local Baton Rouge brands.
2. Will Campbell - $710,000
It's an incredible testament to Campbell's performance at LSU to see an offensive lineman this high on the NIL list. Will Campbell has signed by far the coolest NIL deals landing a deal with Bose to hook his offensive line up with headphones for the season and Sunshine Quality solutions with a perfectly fitting John Deere partnership.
1. Garrett Nussmeier - $929,000
Topping the list to no ones surprise is of course the quarterback of the LSU Football team. Garrett Nussmeier has an NIL valuation nearing $1,000,000 before ever being the full time starter for the Tigers. Nussmeier has signed some awesome NIL deals including Cheez-Its from LSU's appearance in the Citrus Bowl, Signature Ride, Bayou Traditions, and Gordon McKernan Injury Attorneys.
The Wild Part of LSU's NIL Deals
The craziest part about this is that these are the five highest valued players on LSU Football's roster and five of the most well known names in College Football. Despite that, if you combine all of their NIL Valuations, they still fall $746,000 short of LSU Gymnast Livvy Dunne's valuation of $3.9 Million. Ranking second in the NIL valuations at LSU is Women's Basketball star Flau'jae Johnson with a $1.2 Million dollar valuation. Before Angel Reese was drafted, she was consistently in the top three at the school which is awesome as Women's Professional sports don't pay as much as the men's side.
