There's a ton of detractors to this modern era of College Football with the emergence of Name, Image, and Likeness. The changes in the sport have made college football resemble the NFL in many ways while also causing a ton of turnover in the beginning of this new era.

We do often however, only see the negative stories about NIL deals. Jaden Rashada and his lawsuit against the Florida boosters and Billy Napier has been a top story but, we hardly ever hear the good stories.

The LSU Football team had one of the good stories of NIL shown this week as Will Campbell partnered with Bose. Campbell was able to gift his teammates in the offensive line room and his coaches with Bose headphones in exchange for a post announcing the partnership.

The moment is awesome and is exactly what NIL should be at it’s core. Will Campbell plays one of the most under appreciated positions and through his hard work he’s become one of the Nation’s best.

Campbell wasn’t given the massive deal out of high school but, he’s built his brand to the point where he’s able to earn deals that help his teammates. It’s an awesome gesture by Campbell to help out his offensive line counterparts as the big guys rarely get the NIL deals that skill players receive. We see players too often getting the big deals based on what they could be rather than what they’ve done.

Top Draft status is next for Will Campbell

This offseason has been a build up of all Campbell’s hard work as watchlist and preseason All-American nominations continue to flood in. This season, Campbell will continue his impressive play and hopefully bring home a few trophies in the process. After that, all eyes are on the top five picks of the 2025 NFL Draft where Will Campbell should hear his name called.
