Week One feels like it's officially underway as a vast majority of the teams around the country will be in action today. ESPN's College Gameday made the trip to College Station where they talked us through the biggest games of the weekend. The LSU Tigers will have to wait until tomorrow night to kick off their season but, the Gameday Crew shared their thoughts on LSU and Tomorrow night's game.

"I think Garrett Nussmeier, we all see incredible upside there."

Kirk Herbstreit

"Lincoln Riley is one of the best offensive coaches in the country but, the issue is their line play, they weren't able to protect Caleb Williams and now they have a new quarterback."

Nick Saban

Nick Saban went on to talk about how despite LSU losing superstars like Jayden Daniels, Malik Nabers, and Brian Thomas Jr he thinks this will be a more balanced team.

The consensus around the desk seemed to be that the talent surrounding Garrett Nussmeier is superior to the group of talent around Miller Moss.

When it came time to make their official picks, Kirk Herbstreit and Rece Davis did not pick as they'll be on the call for the game. The Tigers got picks from Lee Corso, Johnny Manziel, Desmond Howard, and Coach Nick Saban while only Pat McAfee picked the USC Trojans.

Vegas Baby Vegas!

We'll have to wait over 24 hours to see the Tigers kick off their season but, there couldn't be any more excitement. The LSU Faithful have taken over Las Vegas and tomorrow night, we'll hopefully see what is a much improved LSU Defense. If the Tigers are able to come out on top, we'll all be like Vince Vaughn and Jon Favreau screaming Vegas Baby Vegas as the Tigers start the season 1-0 with a ranked win on the West Coast.
