Malik Nabers had his breakout game catching ten passes for 127 yards and a touchdown leading the Giants in ever receiving category. Nabers carried the Giants offense catching all but, six of Daniel Jones' completions and accounting for all but, 51 yards of the Giants receiving yards. While Nabers will beat himself up over a late game drop, he was the reason that the Giants were in that game and he'll only get better in the weeks to come.

The Giants lost this game in part to how long Jayden Daniels was able to keep the Washington Commanders' offense on the field. The Commanders offense was able to continuously move the chains staying on the field for 37:32 to the Giants' 22:28 time of possession. The Commanders didn't punt once but, they also scored 21 points only kicking field goals. Daniels finished the game completing 22 of 29 attempts for 226 yards while rushing for another 44 yards.

The Jacksonville Jaguars lost another game but, Brian Thomas Jr turned in another impressive performance. Thomas led the Jaguars in receiving catching two passes for 94 yards with a long of 66 yards. We saw Malik Nabers get targeted 18 times, and it's hard to understand why Trevor Lawrence only looked Thomas' way four times.

On the other side of this game, Grant Delpit had a great game recording six tackles two of which were for a loss.

One of the biggest upsets of Sunday was the New Orleans Saints dominating the Dallas Cowboys. Tyrann Mathieu looked like he was wearing #7 at LSU again recording three tackles, two pass defenses, and an interception. One of those pass defenses came when Mathieu laid a massive hit on Cowboys receiver Jalen Tolbert. With 34 interceptions, Tyrann Mathieu now has the most interceptions among active players.

Sunday Night Football is when the stars come out to play and the Houston Texans got star-studded performances from their LSU Tigers. Danielle Hunter harassed Caleb Williams all night recording 1.5 sacks and two quarterback hits. Danielle Hunter and Will Anderson Jr combined for 17 pressures while the team combined for 36 on 37 pass attempts. Late in the third quarter as the Bears were trying to stage a comeback, Derek Stingley Jr made a massive interception with incredible coverage on DJ Moore.

The Steelers continue to win football games in old school fashion as their defense allowed just ten points. Patrick Queen patrolled the middle for the Steelers and recorded two tackles while playing incredibly in coverage. Donte Jackson is 2-2, intercepting a pass in each week for the Steelers with a 49 yard return which led to the Steelers kicking a field goal.

Earlier this weekend, a reporter compared Justin Jefferson to Garrett Wilson and Jefferson quickly shut that down as he's on a different planet compared to Wilson. Jefferson then proved why cathcing four passes for 133 yards and a 97 yard touchdown. He did leave the game with an injury but, it sounds like he'll be back next week.

A fun week three of matchups ahead of us

Next weekend we'll see a ton of matchups between LSU Football alums. Derek Stingley Jr will go head to head with Justin Jefferson as either team will move to 3-0. Malik Nabers will look to continue his solid start against Grant Delpit and the Browns defense. Monday Night Football will give us a showdown of Heisman Winners as Jayden Daniels faces off against Joe Burrow.
