Many LSU Football fans will spend their Wednesday relentlessly scrolling through their social media feeds in search of college football prospect signings. Indeed, the early NSD is the first chance for players to put pen to paper, and fax their National Letter of Intent (NLI) to their selected college. As such, December 20th is an important day for Brian Kelly and the LSU Tigers.
Social media is the quickest method to follow the early NSD. The official LSU Football X (Twitter) account will post updates with graphics for each player that faxes their NLI to Baton Rouge. We also plan to follow the day via the Death Valley Voice X account.
LSU Football fans that want to follow all of the early NSD coverage must tune into 247Sports’ YouTube channel beginning at 10 a.m. ET. Additionally, we expect all LSU-centric radio programs to give updates as they happen. Off the Bench with Jacob Hester and T-Bob Hebert will dedicate a solid chunk of their show on ESPN 104.5 to the day.
ESPN, ESPN2, and ESPNU also offers full television coverage of early NSD. LSU Football fans looking for a roundup of the day’s events must tune into College Football Live at 3 p.m. ET.
Most of the 27 players committed to the LSU Football 2024 class are expected to sign their NLI tomorrow. The Tigers class currently ranks 12th nationally via On3’s consensus rankings. Unfortunately, there is no consensus five-star prospect included, but that could change depending on potential flips.
Last year, most of the 2023 LSU Football class signed on early NSD. As a result, the February NSD was very uneventful. This year, the February NSD projects to be more interesting with Kelly’s staff pushing hard to flip Texas A&M commitment Dominick McKinley.
McKinley is not expected to sign an NLI tomorrow. The earliest recruits can send their NLIs to schools is 7 a.m. ET.
