Who are the announcers for the LSU Football game vs Nicholls State
The LSU Football team's game this weekend certainly isn't one of the flashiest of the weekend as the Tigers play host to Nicholls State. The game will kick off at 6:30 PM Central Time kicking off the 100th season of Tiger Stadium with a ton of improvements to the stadium. The game will be tough to find as it'll be on ESPN + and SEC Network + which is included with a purchase of ESPN +.
The crew announcing the game will be Matt Schumacker, Dustin Fox, and Alex Chappell.
Matt Schumacker will be a familiar voice to College Basketball fans as he spent time as the announcer for Fox Sports and Big Ten Network from 2021 to 2024. He has also called some Football, Softball, baseball, track and field, swimming, and volleyball in his career where you may have heard him.
Dustin Fox is a former football player as he played for the Ohio State Buckeyes in the early 2000's where he won a BCS National Championship in 2002. After starting for four years at Ohio State, Fox spent some time in the NFL. Cleveland Browns fans will know Fox for his radio work on gameday for the team.
Roaming the sidelines will be sideline reporter Alex Chappell. Baseball fans may recognize Alex Chappell as she worked for TBS in the 2019 postseason while she's also covered the Tampa Bay Rays and the Washington Nationals. She has also spent time with ESPN and SEC Network and interviewed Ed Orgeron back in 2016.
