Before the College Football season even kicked off, this was the weekend that everyone circled as the best weekend of games in the entire year. Aside from the game between Texas and Oklahoma, every game lived up to the hype and we got a few surprisingly close games.

While last weekend was filled with upsets this weekend was filled with thrillers as LSU and Ole Miss went to overtime while Ohio State and Oregon went down to the wire. We didn't get that massive upset that totally changed the College Football Playoff picture but, based on how some teams played we now know a lot more about each team.

After week 7, here is how we predict the College Football Playoff picture shaking out at the end of the season.

This is the first week all season where we haven't had a shakeup among our College Football Playoff predictions in part because we were early on teams like LSU and BYU. The biggest shakeup comes with Oregon taking hold of the top spot with their win over Ohio State.

Texas remains our front runner to win the SEC after demolishing Oklahoma but, they'll have their biggest test of the season this week against Georgia. Miami remains the front runner to win the ACC for us after the bye week but, Clemson is working their way into that conversation. BYU remains our pick to win the Big 12 as they demolished Arizona this weekend as they continue to be the most disrespected team in College Football.

Ohio State falls to the highest spot they're allowed to be in as they'll most likely get another crack at this Oregon team in the Big Ten Championship game. Georgia stands pat at sixth even though they sort of struggled with Mississippi State this weekend, next week will be a massive chance for Georgia as they'll face Texas.

Penn State hardly survived against USC this weekend, Ohio State is still lingering but, at worst Penn State should be a one loss team. Alabama takes a drop on the other hand as they found themselves in a war with South Carolina, this team clearly has flaws on the offensive line and in the secondary which will be tested down the line.

After losing to Georgia, all Clemson has done is dominate and they'll most likely find their way back to the ACC Championship Game. After the chaos of last weekend, we moved LSU back into our playoff predictions and that looks great after they beat Ole Miss with a few big games left on the schedule.

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish continue to stack impressive wins and given how USC looks they'll win that game and make the Playoff. Finally, Boise State remains our pick for the Non Group of Four bid but, they have a tough game against UNLV ahead while Army and Navy have impressed.

On the outside looking in are Tennessee, Iowa State, Texas A&M, and Missouri while more teams could rejoin the contention.
