This Weekend in College Football was headlined by massive matchups between some of the biggest names in the SEC. Georgia ended Texas' bid for an undefeated season while Tennessee may have ended Alabama's hopes of making the College Football Playoff.

The craziness of College Football with nearly every team taking losses has set us up for an incredible final stretch of this season as we'll likely see elimination games every weekend. After the results of this weekend, here is how we predict the College Football Playoff race will pan out.

The Oregon Ducks were the big winner this weekend as they'll likely have the best shot at the one seed if they're able to remain unbeaten. The Georgia Bulldogs are looking like the dominant team we were used to seeing and its going to be tough to find a team that has the talent to beat Georgia the rest of the way.

Miami still looks vulnerable but, every week they continue to find ways to win tight games which will be crucial when it comes time to play in the biggest games on their schedule. BYU remains our frontrunner to win the Big 12 after surviving against Oklahoma State driving down the field with less than two minutes left to pull of the comeback.

The presumed top two teams in the country have lost the last two weeks but, they'll be the first two at large teams as it takes a team like Georgia or Oregon to even compete against Ohio State and Texas. Penn State stays put at seven, this group hasn't played Michigan or Ohio State who always give them trouble but, this Penn State team looks better on offense than any of James Franklin's recent teams.

Both of the Tigers LSU and Clemson continue to rise up the rankings as they've only gotten better and better after losing week one. The same can be said for Notre Dame after their early loss and the Irish should have a great chance at finishing unbeaten the rest of the way.

Joining the party for the first time is the Indiana Hoosiers after their massive win against Nebraska. The Hoosiers may not end the season with the strongest of resumes unless they beat Ohio State but, this team could finish with just one loss which would make it tough for them to miss the playoff.

This weekend we'll see Boise State face off against UNLV for what will likely determine the Non-Group of Five invite to the College Football Playoff but, if Boise State wins they'll be a front runner for the College Football Playoff.

Dropping out of the College Football Playoff picture is the Alabama Crimson Tide as they clearly have some issues in year one of the Kalen DeBoer era. Right on the bubble of the Playoff picture are Tennessee, Iowa State, Texas A&M, UNLV, and both Army and Navy depending how UNLV and Boise State finish their seasons.

The Week to Come in College Football

This upcoming weekend doesn't have the massive headliner games like we've had the past two weeks but, there are still some great games on the schedule. Notre Dame and Navy will face off at MetLife Stadium and the winner will be in a great position to make the Playoff. LSU and Texas A&M will battle on Saturday night with the winner taking the lead in the SEC. Alabama and Missouri will now face off in what is most likely an elimination game for the Playoff. The Indiana Hoosiers will be without their starting quarterback Kurtis Rourke which could make them vulnerable for an upset this weekend.
