This Saturday is shaping up to be a massive day for Kim Mulkey and the LSU women's basketball program. The upcoming matchup between No. 6 LSU and No. 3 South Carolina is one of the most anticipated games of the entire college basketball season. All eyes will be on Baton Rouge, as College GameDay will be on site for the top-5 matchup. In addition, the PMAC is already sold out.
LSU watches as SEC foe gains momentum for elite 5-star defender
In addition to the must-see SEC showdown taking place on the hardwood, Saturday also presents a massive recruiting opportunity for Mulkey and the Tigers. LSU is set to host multiple recruits over the weekend, and among them is 5-star prospect Caroline Bradley.

LSU set to host 5-star prospect Caroline Bradley on Saturday
247Sports has reported that Bradley will be taking an unofficial visit to LSU on Saturday for the South Carolina game. Bradley is among the most sought-after recruits for the 2027 class, and she is a Louisiana native. Hailing from Oak Grove, Bradley is rated by 247Sports as the No. 7 overall player and the No. 1 center in the country for the 2027 recruiting class.
The offers have been rolling in for the 6'5" center, as she has received offers from some of the top programs in the country including LSU, Notre Dame, South Carolina, Vanderbilt, and Duke. With both Mulkey and Dawn Staley extending offers to Bradley, Saturday's top-5 showdown at the PMAC has even more on the line.
Mulkey and her staff have been in pursuit of Bradley for a while, and hit the road to River Ridge (LA) to watch Bradley in Oak Grove's matchup against John Curtis in December.
Bradley primarily plays center, but has a dynamic skill set that enables her to stretch the floor by shooting effectively from distance. She is described by 247Sports Director of Scouting Brandon Clay as having "the size on the interior that makes it difficult for high school prospects to keep her off the glass on either end of the court." Clay adds that Bradley "is comfortable playing through contact...and moves well from side to side while maintaining a consistent pace of play."
It's clear that Bradley is a top priority for Mulkey and LSU, and a strong showing on Saturday against the Gamecocks could do wonders for LSU as Bradley continues her decision-making process.
