The LSU Football team has been one of it not the most active team in the transfer portal reeling in 13 transfers. The Tigers have been aggressive in filling their needs landing a tight end, two cornerbacks, three wide receivers, three edge rushers, a punter, an offensive lineman, a defensive tackle and an exciting young quarterback.

The two outstanding needs for the LSU Football team are on the offensive line where LSU loses four experienced starters and at safety where LSU loses two experienced starters. LSU has brought several safeties to campus for visits but, haven' landed a commitment but, it was always best to wait to see which players entered the Transfer Portal from the losing playoff teams.

On Sunday Night, one potential safety target entered the transfer portal for LSU when Tennessee Safety Christian Harrison entered the transfer portal.

This season, Harrison recorded 20 tackles, half of a sack, and a pass deflection as a rotational player for the Volunteers. Christian Harrison is the son of Former Two Time NFL All Pro Safety Rodney Harrison.

Where Harrison would best fit into LSU's defense is in the star position where Major Burns spent the majority of this season playing. Harrison mostly played the star in the Volunteers defense and is a solid tackler and a versatile player LSU could try as one of its deep safeties.

The LSU Football program has made a clear priority on where they're adding transfers from adding players from the best conferences in football. 7 of LSU's transfers have come from the SEC, one has come from the Big Ten, and four have come from the ACC. Given Christian Harrison has experience playing at one of the top teams in the SEC, he should become one of LSU's top priorities at safety.
