Now that the 2025 regular season has concluded for the LSU Football program, the Lane Kiffin era is set to take center stage. As Kiffin continues to build his 2026 roster, it's imperative that he explore every possibility of bringing in the best WR on the market who just became available.

According to Hayes Fawcett of On3, Auburn star WR Cam Coleman plans to enter the transfer portal. Despite poor QB play, Coleman emerged into a bonafide star during his two seasons at Auburn. He's racked up 1,306 yards and 13 touchdowns in his career, and is coming off a season in which he totaled 56 catches for 708 yards and 5 touchdowns.

Cam Coleman is the best WR on the market

The LSU offense as a whole struggled throughout the 2025 season. LSU failed to score more than 25 points against an FBS opponent during the regular season, and after such an underwhelming campaign, Tiger fans are eager for Kiffin to lead an offensive turnaround in 2026. Cam Coleman could be the perfect fit to help in that effort.

LSU's WR room needs plenty of reinforcements heading into 2026. Aaron Anderson, Barion Brown, and Chris Hilton Jr are all out of eligibility, which leaves the Tiger WR room with plenty of question marks at the moment. 4-star recruits Corey Barber and Jabari Mack, as well as 3-star prospect Brayden Allen are all apart of LSU's 2026 recruiting class, but bringing in a veteran of Coleman's ability could work wonders for Kiffin and the Tiger offense.

Hailing from Phenix City, AL, Coleman was a 5-star prospect who was rated as the No. 2 WR in the country for the 2024 recruiting class. He initially committed to Texas A&M before flipping to Auburn. He's emerged into a star in two seasons at Auburn, and could be a perfect fit for Kiffin's offense in Baton Rouge.

The transfer portal is set to open on January 2, and Kiffin will undoubtedly be looking to make a splash. Coleman would be an instant difference-maker.
