The LSU Tigers are trying to get back on track this weekend against the Texas A&M Aggies. LSU fell from No. 10 to No. 20 in the AP Poll following its 31-24 loss at Vanderbilt last Saturday. Now, the Tigers have another tough assignment on hand as they welcome the 3rd-ranked Aggies to Tiger Stadium.

It's essentially a must-win game for Brian Kelly and the Tigers if they want to have any hope left to make the College Football Playoff. Already with two losses, suffering a third before the end of October would all but close the CFP door. The good news is that Texas A&M has historically struggled at Tiger Stadium, and the Tigers needs to keep that trend rolling on Saturday night.

LSU owns the all-time series lead over Texas A&M 36-24-3. The Tigers have dominated the series at home, and haven't lost to the Aggies in Death Valley since Texas A&M joined the SEC. Going back further, the Tigers haven't lost to the Aggies at home since 1994.

The Tigers are looking for revenge in Saturday's meeting. LSU's loss to Texas A&M last season sent Brian Kelly's team into a spiral they never fully recovered from. The 38-23 loss at Kyle Field started a three-game losing streak for LSU, which crushed their hopes of a shot at the SEC title and College Football Playoff. With the series now shifting to Baton Rouge and already having two losses, the Tigers need to find a win to get back into the win column in this one.

Texas A&M enters this top-25 matchup with an undefeated 7-0 record on the season. The Aggies have scored 30+ points in all but one game this season, and are coming off a 45-42 win over Arkansas. The defense has struggled, ranking 13th in the SEC allowing 23.4 points per game.

Oddsmakers are favoring the Aggies on the road, making the Tigers rare home underdogs in Death Valley. As it stands, Texas A&M is favored by 2.5 points. Kick-off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. CT, and the game will be broadcast on ABC.
