The LSU Football team stays put in the AP Poll as the Nation's eighth best team
This weekend, LSU didn't pick up a massive resume building win over the Arkansas Razorbacks but, it was a much needed win. Remaining just a one loss team keeps LSU right in the mix for the College Football Playoff and remaining unbeaten in the SEC gives LSU a shot at making its way to the SEC Championship game.
Around the Country there were some big games but, there weren't too many big upsets like we've seen in most weeks. As a result, the LSU Football team has remained the 8th-ranked team in the AP Poll.
The Tigers move ahead of Alabama who slides to 15th after their loss to Tennessee while the Volunteers jump the Tigers into the 7th ranking with their win over Alabama. The SEC hasn't been as dominant as everyone expected as the SEC has just four teams in the top ten.
When you look at LSU's schedule, the Tigers still have a few great chances to build their resume. This weekend, LSU will face off against 14th ranked Texas A&M which will be a great chance to add another top 25 win to their resume. The Tigers will also get a shot at 15th ranked Alabama who is starting to look like everyone else as the Tide move into the Kalen DeBoer era.
