There were so many massive moments in LSU's massive win over Ole Miss that some of the biggest moments have gotten forgotten. Early on in this game, Ole Miss led by ten points when they easily could've led by 20 or more but, they dropped a touchdown and missed a field goal. As LSU trailed by ten, Garrett Nussmeier needed a score and it didn't go to any of his veteran receivers.

The Tigers lined true freshman tight end Trey'Dez Green up in the slot where he ran past his defender and was wide open to get LSU on the scoreboard.

The touchdown flashed the ability that Green saw all summer as he got on the board for his second touchdown. Given how talented Trey'Dez Green is it has become clear that LSU needed to find a way to get him more involved in the offense.

Brian Kelly and his staff have found the solution and will start to deploy Trey'Dez as a wide receiver for the rest of the season.

The move to wide receiver makes a ton of sense as LSU's receiver room is banged up while Green brings a new element to this offense. At 6 foot 7, Green could be the best weapon for Garrett Nussmeier on 50/50 balls and in the red zone. With his massive frame, it'll be hard for defenses to cover Green, especially against some of the shorter cornerbacks he'll face.

The freshmen revolution continues for LSU

The LSU Football team is starting to round into shape, and it has been helped by Brian Kelly playing the freshmen. The freshman who has had the biggest impact has been Caden Durham who has given this offense a home run threat at running back. The defense has gotten a massive boost by playing freshmen like Dominick McKinley, Ahmad Breaux, Gabe Reliford, DaShawn Spears, and PJ Woodland. Given the injuries at receiver, Green will be the next freshman to make his mark and we couldn't be more excited,
