The LSU Football team was on the bye week last weekend meaning the Tigers had some extra time to get healthy for the Ole Miss Rebels. Given that there was no game last weekend, we got little information from Brian Kelly on the injuries as he played it close to the chest. In the past, LSU would've kept injury news close to the chest but, this week they have no choice but to comply with the SEC's mandatory injury reports.

On LSU's initial injury report for the week, it appears the Tigers will be without a key wide receiver while there may be a few more sidelined.

For starters, it looks like LSU will be without West Weeks for another week which is a concern as we haven't seen him on the field as the third linebacker in the rotation since Harold Perkins was injured.

The Tigers will be without Kyle Parker this weekend which deals a blow to the LSU Football team. On the season, Parker has caught three passes for 55 yards and a touchdown. What makes losing Parker sting isn't his production but, what he could've done to help LSU.

Chris Hilton is once again questionable and until he takes the field we're going to continue to believe he's out this weekend. Hilton has been questionable every weekend and it seems like his injury may be worse than the bone bruises it was described as.

Where LSU may be hurt the most is that CJ Daniels is questionable for this weekend's game. Daniels has started every game at wide receiver and while he hasn't provided the impact everyone would have hoped for he's started to find his groove.

If Daniels was out, it likely would have been Kyle Parker filling in for him as he's filling in for Aaron Anderson who's filling in for Chris Hilton. The Tigers' wide receiver depth is going to be tested this weekend especially if Daniels and Chris Hilton can't play.

Who fills in at Wide Receiver for LSU

This weekend, expect a heavy dosage of Zavion Thomas at wide receiver, and given how good he has been it's deserved. We may also see Brian Kelly utilize his tight ends either in more traditional roles or by splitting a player like Trey'Dez Green out wide. Javen Nicholas has three catches on the season and could see a more prominent role as a receiver. LSU has two talented freshmen in Kylan Biliot and Jelani Watkins who could be promoted this weekend to give LSU some extra bodies.
