The NFL Draft is just days away as all eyes will be on Green Bay later this week when the 1st round of the draft takes place on Thursday Night. LSU Football fans will be glued to the TV during the first round as Will Campbell will look to become the first offensive tackle in LSU History to be selected in the first round.

Given how weak this NFL Draft class is, projecting where anyone will go is difficult especially for Will Campbell. The entire draft cycle, Will Campbell's range started with the 4th overall pack where he could land in New England. As Draft week is upon us, Will Campbell appears to be the 4th overall pick barring any significant changes.

On Monday, Rich Eisen shared all of the rumors he's hearing leading into the Draft where he shared more great news regarding Will Campbell.

"I'm hearing the Patriots love, adore Will Campbell, and are going to do the sensible thing which is to protect the kid before giving him a weapon to protect him with a run game. That may not materialize because the offensive line isn't equipped to do that either. I'm hearing the Patriots are going to do the sensible thing and go Will Campbell out of LSU."

If the rumors are true, Will Campbell won't have to wait long to hear his name called as he should come off of the board 4th overall. Landing in New England would be massive for Will Campbell as he'd land with a great coaching staff as the first selection of their new era.

Mike Vrabel is known for building his teams through the trenches, which would only help Will Campbell in his development. The team also seemingly has its franchise quarterback in Drake Maye, who showed a ton of promise as a rookie but did deal with injuries, which will push the team toward picking Campbell.

The Draft will kick off on Thursday Night and when the Patriots are on the clock with the 4th Overall pick, all eyes should be on Campbell as he'll look to make LSU History.
