Will Campbell becomes the First LSU Offensive Lineman to be named a First Team All American by Walter Camp since Alan Faneca was named one in 1997.
Campbell wasn't a Finalist for the Outland Trophy which went to Campbell's All American counterpart Kelvin Banks who Campbell won the Jennings trophy with.
Campbell has been incredible during his time at LSU and leaves as one of the most decorated offensive linemen. Campbell was an All-SEC selection every year he's been at LSU making the Second Team as a Freshman and the first team the last two seasons, a Freshman All American, won the Jennings Trophy, and now is a First Team All American.
The LSU Tigers offensive line helped LSU's offense average 315 yards passing per game and 116 yards rushing per game as the unit allowed 15 sacks over 12 games which was the lowest in the SEC.
Campbell's career has been incredible, he came in as a True Freshman and has started every game except for one in his career when an illness kept him out of the game. Campbell will continue to rack up accolades this offseason ending when he'll be LSU's first ever first round pick at offensive tackle.
This offseason, LSU faces the tall task of replacing two outstanding offensive tackles in Will Campbell and Emery Jones along with starting guards Miles Frazier and Garrett Dellinger.
