The Seattle Seahawks won their second Super Bowl in franchise history on Sunday night by defeating the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LX. Despite a slow start offensively, Seattle's elite defense held Drake Maye and company in check from start to finish. The offense eventually found its footing, and the Seahawks cruised to a 29-13 victory.

With Seattle's win, another former LSU Tiger has claimed a Super Bowl ring. Offensive lineman Anthony Bradford spent four seasons with the Tigers from 2019-22, and has now won his first Super Bowl ring in the NFL. Bradford joins an elite club of LSU alums to find success on the NFL's biggest stage, as he is the 51st former Tiger to win a Super Bowl.

Former Tiger OL Anthony Bradford keeps LSU's Super Bowl tradition alive

Bradford was a member of LSU's historic 2019 National Championship team, although he did not see much playing time. He worked his way up to see significant playing time in 2021, and earned the starting right guard role in 2022. The 2022 LSU offense was one of the best in the country, as the Tigers averaged more than 450 yards of total offense per game and Jayden Daniels went on to win the Heisman Trophy.

Following the 2022 season, Bradford was selected in the 4th Round of the 2023 NFL Draft by the Seahawks with the 108th overall pick. He appeared in 14 games as a rookie and took on a starting role in 2024. This season, he started all 17 regular season games as well as all three postseason games for Seattle at right guard.

Bradford helped lead a Seattle offensive line that allowed just one sack in Sunday's Super Bowl victory. Bradford was the lone former Tiger on Seattle's roster for Super Bowl LX. LSU alums Will Campbell, Kayshon Boutte, K'Lavon Chaisson, and Bradyn Swinson were on the opposite side with New England.

Following Super Bowl LX, at least one former Tiger has appeared in 25 consecutive Super Bowls. That is the longest streak in all of college football, and one that Tiger fans are hopeful to see continue next season.
