Brian Kelly praises about his team's ability to block out noise in the LSU Postgame
This weekend could've been another disappointing weekend for the LSU Football team as the Tigers faced a sound Vanderbilt team. The Tigers have dealt with a ton of outside noise the past few weeks which could've been a massive distraction. Instead, LSU blocked out the noise and played a sound football game to end the losing streak.
After the game Brian Kelly took to the podium to discuss his team's play and how he they handled this week in the Post Game Press Conference. Kelly started by saying that he was confident in his team even after they went down 7-0 saying they controlled the game from there.
After the game, Brian Kelly met with his team's two leaders Garrett Nussmeier and Will Campbell, and he told the media what he told his guys.
"My message to them was thank you for your leadership. They took responsibility and they helped us overcome a lot to win this game."

The Tigers looked much more in control on Saturday Night, that may be due to the fact that Kelly said the coaching staff found a way to simplify things this weekend.
"The mantra this week was be committed to the call. Whatever the call is, be committed to it. We cut a lot this week."

One of the bigger distractions this week was the loss of Bryce Underwood to Michigan, Kelly said that his team heard the noise and they did feel some disappointment but, the team nor the staff was affected by it.
Josh Williams was dominant for LSU racking up 151 yards and a pair of touchdowns for LSU, Brian Kelly gave the veteran a ton of praise for his performance.
"He ran through the face of a number of defenders. It was physicality, it was want to, it was desire, it was all those things in one."
