Lane Kiffin has already brought in a transfer portal class that is currently ranked No. 1 in the country by 247Sports. But Kiffin and the Tigers appear to be on the verge of landing another transfer that could take LSU's portal class to another level.
LSU 2026 National Championship odds: Where do the Tigers stack up?
According to Shea Dixon of On3, the Tigers are surging in Seaton's recruitment after the 6'5" 330-pound lineman spent multiple days visiting Baton Rouge. Dixon feels confident in LSU's ability to seal the deal with Seaton, which has Tiger fans fired up.
New: Colorado OL Jordan Seaton is the highest-ranked lineman in the portal.

After a multi-day stay at LSU, the Tigers are surging.
With Miami + Miss State visits in the books, and Oregon (and more) pushing for visits, I've made my @On3 RPM pick.

Jordan Seaton would be the perfect No. 1 protector for Sam Leavitt
Landing Seaton would be a monster victory for Kiffin and his staff. Seaton is ranked as the No. 2 offensive lineman in the portal by Saturday Blitz, and is the top overall player still available. LSU's portal class is already receiving high praise, as Kiffin has signed over 35 new players including former Arizona State QB Sam Leavitt. Getting Seaton in the purple and gold would give Leavitt his top protector for 2026.
Seaton emerged into a star in his 2 seasons with Colorado, becoming argubaly the best pass-protector in the country. He allowed just 5 sacks over the course of 948 pass blocking snaps in Boulder, and his pass-blocking grade of 91.4 was the best in the entire country this past season.
Leavitt owns a dual threat skill set that makes him LSU's top signing in the portal thus far. That means giving him adequate protection in 2026 is a top priority for the Tigers. That rings even truer when considering the fact that Leavitt is coming off a season-ending ankle injury he suffered on October 25 against Houston. Seaton would be the perfect add to an already improved LSU offensive line to protect Leavitt in 2026.
After an underwhelming season from the LSU offensive line in 2025, Seaton has the potential to take LSU's new-look offense under Kiffin to new heights.
