LSU fans rejoice as 5-star transfer OT Jordan Seaton announces his commitment

Lane Kiffin has done it again.

According to Matt Moscona of LouisianaSports.net, 5-star transfer OT Jordan Seaton has committed to LSU. The move is a massive win for Kiffin and the Tigers, as Seaton fortifies an LSU offensive line that was the team's biggest weakness this past season.

Kiffin already has LSU's transfer portal class ranked No. 1 in the country according to 247Sports, and adding Seaton to the mix takes the class to another level. Known as "The Portal King," Kiffin is truly earning his nickname during his early days at the helm of the LSU Football program.

Seaton is ranked as the No. 2 offensive lineman in the portal by Saturday Blitz, and up until Friday night, was the best overall player still available on the market.

Kiffin hinted at Seaton's decision shortly before it was announced:

Seaton is an exceptional pass-blocker, and is the perfect fit for an LSU offensive line looking to put forth a bounce back season in 2025. In addition, the Tiger O line will need to protect new QB Sam Leavitt in 2026. Leavitt is coming off a season-ending ankle injury he suffered on October 25, and keeping him upright is of the utmost importance for the Tigers this season. Seaton is the man for the job.

The 6'5" 330-pound lineman allowed just 5 sacks over the course of 948 pass blocking snaps in his 2 seasons with Colorado. Furthermore, his pass-blocking grade of 91.4 this past season was the best in the entire country.

Seaton has 2 years of eligibility remaining and is regarded as a future First Round pick in the NFL Draft. There's a good chance he spends just one season in Baton Rouge before entering the NFL Draft, but Tiger fans are thrilled he picked LSU. His addition gives the LSU offense even more excitement heading into Kiffin's first season.
