The LSU Tigers got a massive splash when Jaboree Antoine the second-ranked player in Louisiana and a top-100 recruit committed to LSU back in January. Flash forward to June and the LSU Football team lost Antoin as he reopened his recruitment. There was a ton of skepticism that LSU would regain Antoine as Florida State and Miami pounced on the chance to land Antoine.
The LSU Football program once again has Jaboree Antoine on board as he re-committed to the LSU Tigers. Antoine is ranked as the 87th-ranked player in the class, the 9th-ranked cornerback, and the second-ranked player out of Louisiana. The Tigers have been dominant recruiting in-state as they hold commitments from seven of the top ten players in-state along with two commitments outside of the top ten.
This has been a massive week for the LSU Football team on the recruiting trail landing the Nation's highest-ranked defensive recruit in DJ Pickett and a top 50 recruit in wide receiver Derek Meadows in addition to Antoine.
The Tigers entered this week with massive needs in this recruiting class at cornerback and at wide receiver. The LSU Tigers leave the week with some massive pickups at both position thanks to massive wins by Cortez Hankton and Corey Raymond.
The LSU Football team is fully in play for the Nation's top recruiting class
As things currently stand, LSU holds the Nation's third ranked recruiting class behind Ohio State and Alabama but, the Tigers are now in play for the top class in the country. This week saw LSU land top-ten recruit DJ Pickett, top 50 recruit Derek Meadows, and top 100 recruit Jaboree Antoine giving the LSU Tigers ten of the Nation's top 110 recruits. The Tigers trail behind the Buckeyes and the Tide in the number of commits but, in terms of Blue Chip talent LSU is second to none.
