The loss of Bryce Underwood immediately makes LSU fans worry that the entire recruiting class may fall apart right in front of our eyes. There's no doubt that losing Bryce Underwood is a significant blow, and it will lead to other recruits flipping as Underwood was a piece that attracted many pieces to LSU's class.

Thus far, a few recruits have taken to X also known as Twitter to express their thoughts on Bryce Underwood's decision to flip.

Yesterday, there were rumors that defensive tackle commit Zion Williams was going to visit In-State Texas this weekend. Williams quickly shut down the rumors and stated that he's still 100% committed to LSU and to only listen to what he says on his recruitment. Well Williams has posted and its great news for LSU and its class.

LSU's most recent commitment was four-star In-state Wide Receiver Kenny Darby from the 2026 recruiting class who was the most productive receiver in Louisiana this season. Darby took to twitter to share his thoughts and you'll have to interpret them as you feel.

The same applies to edge rusher Damien Shanklin who had the same thoughts as Darby with one extra emoji in the mix.

The biggest concern for LSU fans on the offensive side of the football was five-star running back Harlem Berry. The running back built a close bond with Bryce Underwood which alarmed everyone that he may flip, the good news is Berry appears to be as locked in as ever.

We'll learn the fate of LSU's class soon enough

Losing Bryce Underwood is the worst blow imaginable for LSU but, the timing is far worse as we're just under two weeks away from Early National Signing Day. The timing doesn't give LSU a ton of time to pivot and as the staff scrambles it gives opposing schools all of the time needed to make a flip late in the cycle. It'll be a hectic two weeks for this staff and the program but, today was an awful day for LSU.
