The LSU women's basketball team picked up a dominant 108-55 win over Missouri on Sunday afternoon at the PMAC. The win set multiple program records, as the 53-point margin of victory is tied for the most-ever for the Tigers in an SEC game. Furthermore, LSU set a program record for most rebounds in an SEC game with 72. No matter how you slice it, it was an impressive victory from Kim Mulkey's squad.

LSU hosts 5-star PG Jezelle Banks for win over Missouri

Jezelle "GG" Banks checks in as the No. 4 overall prospect in the country for the 2027 recruiting class, and she was in Baton Rouge to take in the scenes at the PMAC on Sunday. The unofficial visit puts LSU firmly in the hunt for Banks as she gears up for a crucial offseason in her recruitment.

Hailing from Lenexa, KS, Banks is a dynamic point guard who can make things happen anywhere on the floor. During her 2023-24 season as a freshman, Banks averaged 21.4 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 3.1 steals per game while reaching the 32-point mark on three different occasions. She posted similar numbers last season as a sophomore, as she put up 21.7 points, 4.8 assists, and 4.1 rebounds per game. For her efforts, she has earned MaxPreps Player of the Year honors in both her freshman and sophomore seasons.

She is among the most sought-after recruits in the country, and has garnered offers from over 15 programs. Most notably, the 5'9" point guard has received offers from LSU, South Carolina, UCLA, Ole Miss and Michigan, among others.

Banks figures to continue taking unofficial visits throughout the spring as she continues her decision-making process into the summer. Given her elite skill set and playmaking ability, Banks would be a great get for Mulkey and the Tigers.
