It's safe to say the LSU women's basketball team has bounced back nicely following a tough loss to No. 3 South Carolina nine days ago. Following that defeat, the Tigers went on the road and defeated No. 17 Ole Miss 78-70 on Thursday night. It was LSU's greatest comeback victory of the season, as Kim Mulkey's squad trailed by nine entering the 4th quarter.

MiLaysia Fulwiley had a career-high 26 points, and the Tiger defense held the Rebels to 0-for-16 shooting from the floor in the 4th quarter. It was a much-needed ranked road win for the Tigers, and they kept the momentum rolling with a monster win over Missouri on Sunday. Not only did the Tigers win in convincing fashion, but they set multiple program records along the way.

LSU sets multiple program records in dominating performance over Missouri

LSU set multiple program records in its 108-55 win over Missouri on Sunday afternoon at the PMAC. The 53-point margin of victory is tied for the most-ever for the Tigers in an SEC game, going back to January 20, 2008 when LSU defeated Mississippi State 84-31 in Baton Rouge.

In addition, LSU put together a dominating performance on the glass. The Tigers totaled 72 rebounds against Missouri, which is the most for LSU in an SEC game in program history. ZaKiyah Johnson led the way with 14 rebounds, while Amiya Joyner (12), MiLaysia Fulwiley (11), and Mikaylah Williams (10) all totaled double-digit rebounds.

Fulwiley also set a personal record, as she recorded the first double-double of her career by scoring a team-high 22 points and bringing down 11 rebounds. Fulwiley is playing her best basketball of the season, which bodes well for LSU's SEC Tournament and NCAA Tournament hopes.

The Tigers are back in action on Thursday, February 26 when they host the Tennessee Volunteers in the final regular season home game of the season. LSU then ends the regular season on the road in Starkville against Mississippi State on Sunday, March 1.
