It's been a tumultuous bye week for the LSU Football program. Brian Kelly was fired last Sunday following LSU's embarrassing loss to Texas A&M in Death Valley. The school and athletic director Scott Woodward also decided to part ways, and Louisiana governor Jeff Landry threw shade at Woodward multiple times. LSU is now without a university president, athletic director, and head football coach. Needless to say, LSU athletics have been the attention of sports fans around the country this week.

With all the chaos that is surrounding the program, interim head coach Frank Wilson has a tall task ahead when leading the Tigers for the rest of the 2025 season. It starts with a road rivalry game in Tuscaloosa this Saturday night.

So far this season, LSU is 5-3 straight up but just 3-5 against the spread. The Tigers have now covered the spread in just one of their last 5 games, with their lone cover coming via a 20-10 win over South Carolina on Oct. 11 when they were favored by 7.5 points. Low-scoring games have been a theme for LSU this season, as the Under is 5-3 in LSU's eight games. However, the over has cashed in back-to-back games.

On the other side, Alabama is 7-1 straight up and 5-2-1 against the spread. The Crimson Tide failed to cover the number in their last outing, as they were 12.5-poin favorites over South Carolina but won by seven points. The Over is an even 4-4 in Alabama's eight games so far this season.

Kick-off between the Tigers and Tide is set for 6:30 p.m. CT on Saturday night at Bryant-Denny Stadium. The game will be broadcast on ABC, so YouTubeTV owners could be in jeopardy of missing out on the action.
