Injuries
This week we'll have less insight into the injuries the LSU Football team is dealing with as mandatory injury reports don't apply to Non-Conference Games. It seems like every week we're saying this but, the LSU Football team is still looking to get Chris Hilton Jr onto the field as he deals with bone bruises in his foot. Zy Alexander's late game injury isn't a big deal as Brian Kelly said he got his wind knocked out of him. We'll want to keep an eye on Jordan Allen and Da'Shawn Womack as both players missed last week's game with an injury.
Weather
It'll be bright and Sunny this weekend in Baton Rouge for the LSU Football game. Forecasts have no predictions for any storms as it'll be clear skies. You will want to purchase your tickets on the shade side of Tiger Stadium as it'll be in the 90's all afternoon.
Series History
The UCLA Bruins have won the only matchup between LSU and UCLA when they beat LSU in Pasadena back in 2021. Neither team has the Coach who coached that game is Chip Kelly left this off-season to be the offensive coordinator at Ohio State while Ed Oregron is awaiting his next job.
The Bruins won the 2021 matchup 38-27 and it marked the beginning of the end for Orgeron coming off of a terrible 2020 with a season opening loss. The Tigers lost that game despite a massive performance from Kayshon Boutte who caught nine passes for 148 yards and three touchdowns. The Tigers were abysmal defensively in this game giving up 210 yards rushing and 260 yards passing.
This game also spawned the viral moment of Ed Orgeron calling out UCLA's Sissy Blue Shirts.
