LSU Football is in the final four for elite five-star wide receiver Jaime Ffrench
The LSU Football team is hot on the recruiting trail landing 2025 recruits CJ Jimcoily and Phillip Wright and 2026 safety Aiden Hall over the past week. August will be an important month for LSU on the recruiting trail as several five-star targets will announce their commitments. The Tigers have already gotten great news from five-star receiver Jaime Ffrench Jr as he named LSU one of his four finalists.
For LSU, Texas has been a foe all offseason with recruiting wide receivers while in-state Miami will be a team to watch down the stretch of this recruitment. For the four finalists, it’s a positive sign to see Alabama who once held Ffrench’s commitment, and Ohio State who looked like the team to beat for a while out of this recruitment.
The Tigers already have three commitments at the wide receiver position from elite receiver Derek Meadows and in-state recruits Phillip Wright and TaRon Francis. Landing Jaime Ffrench would give LSU an elite playmaker joining five-stars Bryce Underwood and Harlem Berry.
At times in this recruitment, it has felt like LSU has led while Texas and Miami have also grabbed leads at certain points. One of the biggest pieces working in LSU's favor is that the Tigers hosted Ffrench as a part of the Bayou Splash recruiting event when recruiting came out of its dead period. LSU will be able to sell Ffrench of the idea of playing with the Nation's top quarterback while the recent selections of Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas point towards development success.
Landing a player like Ffrench would be massive for LSU
If LSU landed Jaime Ffrench, the Tigers would hold commitments from four five-star recruits which would tie Alabama for the most in the country. LSU's recruiting class which is currently ranked third would leapfrog Alabama and Ohio State taking hold of the Nation's top recruiting class. The LSU Football program is recruiting at an elite level right now which bodes well for future success.
