The LSU Football team went through SEC Media Days on Monday morning and now, all eyes turn towards the recruiting trail. The LSU Football team currently holds the Nation's fifth-ranked recruiting class after landing safety Jhase Thomas this past weekend. The LSU Football team has four massive recruiting targets announcing their commitments this weekend which could determine where this class ends in the rankings.

DJ Pickett - July 17th

On Wednesday, LSU will either have the Nation's best offensive and defensive recruit or they'll miss out on a massive recruit. Wednesday, DJ Pickett will pick between in-state Miami, Oregon, and the LSU Tigers. During the Spring, the LSU Tigers had all of the momentum while this past month it seems that Oregon is making the biggest push for DJ Pickett after landing Dakorien Moore. Winning out for DJ Pickett would easily be the biggest recruiting win this cycle while a loss could raise concerns with Corey Raymond's recruiting efforts. This week will be pivotal in deciding how LSU's defensive back class ends up and landing Pickett would erase any concerns.

Jaboree Antoine - July 20th

A month ago, Jaboree Antoine was the only commitment to LSU in the secondary now, LSU has one commit with in-state safety Jhase Thomas but, Corey Raymond needs to land some cornerbacks. Jaboree Antoine will announce his commitment again on July 20th with LSU, Miami, and Florida State as finalists. Landing Antoine would be massive for the LSU Football team as he's ranked as the 87th best player in the class, the ninth ranked cornerback, and the second ranked player from Louisiana. The latest buzz favors Florida State but, Corey Raymond and the Tigers still have a great shot at landing Jaboree Antoine.

Derek Meadows - July 20th

On Saturday, four-star wide receiver Derek Meadows was supposed to make his commitment however he pushed his commitment date to July 20th. When Meadows makes his announcement he'll chose between LSU, Alabama, Georgia, Michigan, and Notre Dame. At different points in his recruitment its felt like Meadows was heading to Alabama, Notre Dame, and LSU which has made this a difficult recruitment. LSU has had momentum as of late but, will it be enough to overtake Notre Dame for Madows?

CJ Jimcoily - Date Not Set

This week, elite safety CJ Jimcoily will announce which school he'll attend however, he hasn't set an exact date. When Jimcoily does make his official announcement, he'll pick between the LSU Tigers and the Stanford Cardinals. The LSU Football team has an advantage in terms of fans as Jimcoily has stated that he has family members that are LSU fans. As things currently stand this recruitment truly feels like a toss up.
