Ten Candidates to be LSU's next commitment in August
The LSU Football team is arguably having the best year out of anyone on the recruiting trail. The Tigers currently hold the Nation's third ranked recruiting class which is headlined by Bryce Underwood the top overall recruit, DJ Pickett the top defensive recruit, and five other top-100 recruits. LSU has already landed Phillip Wright, Dilan Battle, CJ Jimcoily, and 2026 safety Aiden Hall in August and these ten players could end up being LSU's next commitments.
Mike Tyler - Tight End - August 17th Commitment
The LSU Football team already has one tight end on board in JD LaFleur but, the Tigers have been long looking to add a second tight end. Slade Nagle has been heavily pursuing Mike Tyler and LSU feels like the heavy favorite here. Tyler is ranked as the 38th tight end in the class and the 711th ranked player overall in the class. He'll decide this weekend between LSU, Duke, and West Virginia.
Jaime Ffrench - Wide Receiver - August 30th Commitment
Ever since Jaime Ffrench decommitted from Alabama, LSU has been at or near the top of the list for Jaime Ffrench. As we approach Ffrench's commitment date, the LSU Football team is in the running for Ffrench but, it looks like the Texas Longhorns have the lead. Ffrench is the Nation's 18th ranked player and the 3rd ranked receiver in the class. If you're looking for a reason to believe LSU is landing Ffrench he did visit late in July along with visiting Miami but, not Texas.
Jonah Williams - Safety - August 24th Commitment
At one point in time, LSU looked like the front runner for the Baseball and Football star while now it looks like it's anyone's race to win. Williams is ranked as the Nation's 10th-best player and the top safety in the class. The race is between Oregon, Texas A&M, LSU, and Oklahoma but, if baseball is a top priority for Williams LSU should be at the top of his list. As things currently stand, it looks like Oregon is the team to beat especially after Williams missed his planned visit to Bayou Splash.
Aidan Anding - Cornerback
The Louisiana native nearly committed to the Texas Longhorns but, LSU offered him a scholarship and things have opened up since. Corey Raymond is still looking to add cornerbacks in this class and with Frank Wilson making the pitch with him LSU has a ton of momentum. Anding is the 48th ranked cornerback in the class and the 16th ranked player in Louisiana and he'd be a massive recruit for the defensive staff.
