This weekend wasn't the best in terms of overall game play but, we saw a ton of exciting plays from the LSU Tigers in the NFL. Even as Malik Nabers missed his game, Tyrann Mathieu is set to play tonight, and a few Tigers were on the bye there were a ton of exciting plays from LSU Tigers. Donte Jackson picked off Dak Prescott, Odell Beckham Jr returned from injury, and a few other defender put up massive games but, they're all outside of the five best performances of the week.

Justin Jefferson's Superstar play translates overseas

After a late night of College Football, there probably weren't a ton of fans tuned into the matchup between the Jets and the Vikings in London. If you missed the game and are just watching the box score it doesn't give Justin Jefferson enough credit for how dominant he was. Jefferson caught just six passes for 92 yards but, that's not where he helped the Vikings the most. Every time Jefferson ran a route, the Jets were seemingly committing a pass interference or a holding call against him. The Vikings remain undefeated despite not having the best of days and are looking like a lock for the NFL Playoffs.

Ja'Marr Chase and Joe Burrow put up monster games in a loss

While the Bengals lost yet again this weekend, their offense was clicking on every level as Joe Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase looked like they were playing Oklahoma in the playoffs. It seemed like Ja'Marr Chase was always open as he caught ten passes for 193 yards and a pair of touchdowns. One of Chase's touchdowns was an incredible 70 yard catch where Chase eluded the defense on a screen.

It was an incredible game for Joe Burrow as well as he threw for 392 yards and 5 touchdowns with one interception. The Bengals continue to get let down by their defense and their lack of a running game and at 1-4 their chances of making the playoffs are bleak.

Jayden Daniels looking to run away with the Rookie of the Year Award

Malik Nabers missed this weekend's game with a concussion and the biggest benefactor of his injury was Jayden Daniels. Entering this week, Daniels was the clear front-runner for the Rookie of the Year Award and this weekend didn't do anything to change that. Jayden Daniels only recorded one touchdown but, his great passing helped set Brian Robinson and Jeremy McNichols up for three short rushing touchdowns. Daniels completed 14 of 25 attempts for 238 yards and a touchdown while leading the team with 82 yards rushing. Daniels has the Commanders at 4-1 a record no one could have expected and this team is boasting one of the best offenses in the league.

The most impressive part of Daniels' throw to Dyami Brown is the fact that he called his own number asking Kliff Kingsbury to run the play.

Brian Thomas Jr looks like the steal of the draft

Given the incredible success LSU wide receivers have had in the NFL Draft, it was shocking that Brian Thomas Jr fell into the Jaguars lap. Before the game, Thomas gave a nod to LSU's wide receivers coach Cortez Hankton Jr who also played for the Jaguars.

In the game, Thomas Jr looked like he was back in Baton Rouge catching five passes for 122 yards and a touchdown. His touchdown was a beautiful deep ball from Trevor Lawrence where Thomas did the rest with his legs reaching the top speed in the NFL this year.
