As the start of the NFL Regular Season approaches, there are a few players still on the free agency market that could certainly help teams. A few of these players are former LSU Football stars such as Jarvis Landry and Patrick Peterson who we've already covered. The one we'd all love to see in the NFL again is Leonard Fournette. Fournette played sparingly in 2023 but, its hard to believe he can't be productive at 29. Here are three teams that should consider signing Fournette prior to the 2024 season.

Las Vegas Raiders

This offseason, the Raiders said goodbye to longtime starting running back Josh Jacobs who led the league in rushing two seasons ago. The Raiders have a lead back in Zamir White while Alexander Matteson will be a capable backup. Given the Raiders' intended style of play under Head Coach Antonio Pierce, the team can always look to add capable backs.

The Raiders lack a true bruiser at running back and that's a role that Fournette could perfectly fill. An area where Fournette can also be of use is in pass protection especially with second year quarterback Aidan O'Connell taking the reins.

Buffalo Bills

The Bills brought in Leonard Fournette late in 2023 as the team dealt with injuries in the running back room. As things currently stand, the Bills will enter the season with James Cook, Ty Johnson, Ray Davis, and Darrynton Evans in the backfield. The Bills have a solid running back room but, the group is undersized and could use a bigger back like Fournette in the room. The Bills may be more of a run-first team after trading away Stefon Diggs which is the perfect reason to add depth in the room.

Minnesota Vikings

The Minnesota Vikings have seen a ton of turnover at the running back position saying goodbye to Dalvin Cook and Alexander Matteson the past two off seasons. The team did sign Aaron Jones this off-season but, he's shown signs of aging which is why the Packers parted ways with him. The Vikings will either start Sam Darnold or JJ McCarthy meaning they may need to lean on the running game more even though they have incredible weapons. Fournette could be the bruising between the tackles back allowing the Vikings to limit the wear and tear on Aaron Jones.
