. 8. LSU . . . . 529. AP #16. . 1-1

This week will be a massive test for the LSU Football team as they go on the road to take on a South Carolina team that is coming off of a massive win and will be hosting College Gameday. This LSU team looked good on defense in a loss to USC but, struggled defensively against Nicholls State. LaNorris Sellers could give this defense headaches while the offensive line will have to deal with an impressive front.

. . 2-0. . . . Oklahome. AP #15. 7. 464

The Sooners barely survived an upset scare against Houston but, a win is a win in College Football and the Sooners are 2-0. Houston outgained the Sooners in this game and if Houston could've scored touchdowns rather than field goals were likely looking at Oklahoma much differently. The Sooners get to take on Tulane this week to fix any issues before they host Tennessee who could hang 50 points on any defense.

6. AP #6. Mizzy. . . . 2-0. . 531.

Two games into the season and there's a debate over which side of the football looks the best in Missouri. The Tigers have scored 89 points in two games while the defense is currently pitching a season long shutout. We'll see Missouri this weekend in a ranked game against Boston College which

. . 532. . . 2-0. . AP #5. 5. Ole Missy

It's hard to knock Ole Miss but, it's not hard to look impressive against Furman and Middle Tennessee. This offense looks explosive nonetheless, as the Rebels have scored 128 points in two games while the defense has allowed just three points. We won't see the Rebels face a top 25 opponent until Lane Kiffin takes on Brian Kelly which makes it difficult to judge this team.

. 534. Tenn. . AP #7. . . 4. 2-0.

This is the first spot where we think the AP Poll was incredibly wrong as thus far, Tennessee has been more impressive considering their opponents than Ole Miss has been. The Vols absolutely decimated #24 NC State this past weekend and Dylan Sampson and Nico Iamaleava look like two contenders for the Heisman. This may be Josh Heupel's best team top to bottom with arguably the Nation's best defensive player and the Vols have entered the group of serious contenders to win the SEC this season.

. . . 3. 523. Alabama. . 2-0. AP #4.

This week certainly wasn't the cleanest for Kalen DeBoer's Alabama Football team and the 42-16 final score doesn't nearly tell you how close that game was. Nonetheless, Alabama is still incredibly talented on both sides of the football headlined by quarterback Jalen Milroe and freshman sensation Ryan Williams. The Tide could either vault their way into the top ranking or slide pretty far down as they finish the month with games against Wisconsin and Georgia.

UTex. 2-0. . . AP #2. . 467. . 2.

The Texas Longhorns may finally be "back" under Steve Sarkisian as the Longhorns dominated the defending National Champions in Ann Arbor. The Longhorns may have the Nation's top quarterback in Quinn Ewers and surrounding him is a hoard of stars. The Longhorns won't face much resistance the rest of the month before facing Georgia and Oklahoma in October.

2-0. 1. UGGA. AP #1. . . 527. . .

The Georgia Bulldogs hold our top ranking in the conference and will remain a top the SEC until a coach not named Nick Saban knocks him off. The Bulldogs may have one of the best wins in the country dominating Clemson and this week they dominated Tennessee Tech. The game circled on everyone's calendars is the game between Alabama and Georgia on September 28th as it may be the deciding game in who wins the SEC.
