There's no hiding the fact that the 2025 LSU Football season has been a complete disaster. The Tigers are just 5-4 overall with a less-than-ideal 2-4 record in SEC play. They've lost three of their last four games heading into this Saturday's matchup against the Arkansas Razorbacks. Arkansas is just 2-6, so LSU dropping this game would just make the 2025 campaign even more miserable for Tiger fans.

LSU can scratch one more name off their list of head coach candidates

Home games at Tiger Stadium are usually hard to come by. Tiger fans pack Death Valley and unless LSU is playing an FCS school, ticket prices are usually relatively pricey. Well, that is not the case for this Saturday's matchup between the 5-4 Tigers and 2-7 Razorbacks. The Gametime ticketing app currently has tickets as low as $4 for the SEC contest. That means LSU fans can get into the game for a cheaper price than a bottle of water inside the stadium.

The reality is that at this point in time, there is more buzz around the LSU coaching search than their is between the lines for the LSU Football program. The program entered the 2025 season with National Championship aspirations, but the season has since gone off the rails.

Brian Kelly was fired following an embarrassing 49-25 loss to Texas A&M in Death Valley where LSU fans were heading for the exits in the 3rd quarter. It was an ugly scene, as Aggie fans outnumbered Tiger fans down the stretch. Kelly was fired the next day, and chaos has surrounded the program ever since. From Louisiana governor Jeff Landry's comments, to parting ways with Scott Woodward, and hiring a new university president and athletic director, the search for Brian Kelly's replacement hasn't exactly been a smooth process thus far.

Add in the fact that LSU and Arkansas are a combined 7-11 overall and 2-9 in SEC play this season, and it makes sense why tickets are so cheap for Saturday's contest. Both teams are being coached by interim head coaches, as Frank Wilson leads the Tigers and Bobby Petrino leads the Razorbacks. LSU is currently favored by 5.5-points, with kick-off slated for 11:45 a.m. CT.
