This week is a busy week on LSU's campus as all of the sports programs are in the midst of massive weeks. The LSU Baseball program is set to host the Baton Rouge Regional kicking off its postseason run on Friday Afternoon. The LSU Softball program is currently working through the transfer portal as Beth Torina and her staff made a pair of additions. The LSU Football program is set to host a massive group of recruits on campus for official visits looking to add to the Nation's top ranked recruiting class.
Heading into the back half of the week, the following stories stand out from everything going on at LSU.
LSU Softball lands Mississippi State transfer Kylee Edwards
On Tuesday, the LSU Softball program landed its first transfer of the offseason as Mississippi State shortstop Kylee Edwards committed to Beth Torina's Tigers. Landing Kylee Edwards could push Avery Hodge back to second base which helps answer some of the roster's questions. This season, Edwards posted a .290 average with 9 home runs and 39 RBIs.

LSU Softball adds Pitcher Cece Cellura
After LSU lost All-American pitcher Sydney Berzon to the transfer portal, it was clear that Beth Torina needed to go out and land another pitcher. On Tuesday, LSU landed San Diego State pitcher Cece Cellura giving the Tigers another starter alongside Jayden Heavener. This season, Cellura posted a 2.28 ERA winning 19 games while holding opponents to a .248 average.

LSU Football set for a massive recruiting weekend
This weekend, the LSU Football team will host its biggest recruiting weekend of the year to this point in the recruiting cycle. The Tigers' weekend attendees are headlined by 5-star offensive tackle Immanuel Iheanacho, whom the Tigers have made a massive push for this Spring. This weekend may also decide the recruitment of LSU's top quarterback target, Bowe Bentley, who's down to Oklahoma and LSU. While Iheanacho and Bentley are the big names to follow, LSU will have at least 10 other high-profile recruits on campus as the Tigers look to add players to its top ranked recruiting class.
LSU's WR commits work out after recruiting visit
This weekend, LSU was able to get its three wide receiver commits, Tristen Keys, Jabari Mack, and Kenny Darby, all back on campus for a visit. Getting the three on campus together was great for the Tigers as it'll only help strengthen the bond between them, which could keep them all in this recruiting class. After the visit, the group continues to build chemistry, which is key for the Tigers, especially as schools will push heavily to flip Tristen Keys,

LSU Pitcher Mavrick Rizy's brother enters the transfer portal
This season, LSU has gotten a key contribution out of Freshman pitcher Mavrick Rizy who's appeared most weekends out of the bullpen. As if his 98 MPH fastball isn't intimidating enough, it has to be impossible to track the ball out of Rizy's hand as he's 6 foot 8. If Jay Johnson is looking to replicate that formula, he may not need to look far as Mavrick Rizy's brother Kyle Rizy entered the transfer portal.
