Just one week after ESPN's flagship college football show College Game Day came to Colombia, South Carolina to showcase LSU's SEC opener against the Gamecocks, SEC Nation announced it is filming in Baton Rouge as the Tigers host UCLA.

SEC Nation is a wildly popular show in the College Game Day mold, featuring former players Roman Harper, Jordan Rodgers, and Tim Tebow, and ESPN media personalities Marty Smith and long time radio host Paul Finebaum.

Finebaum criticized College Game Day's choice to go to the LSU at South Carolina game last week calling it, "bizarre." However, the game turned out to be one of the most competitive and entertaining matchups of the week, with sloppy mistakes from both teams keeping the game close throughout the second half.

This weekend will mark the first time SEC Nation has visited LSU since their 2022 home upset win against then number 7 ranked Ole Miss. LSU is 12 - 9 all time in games featured as the host for SEC Nation. This game had been circled by many heading into the year as a potential trap matchup for LSU, but the odds have turned heavily in favor of the Tigers as UCLA has struggled mightily in its first two games this year. ESPN and ABC moved the game to the mid-afternoon TV window, much to the disappointment of many Tiger fans.

In addition to SEC Nation, other SEC Network shows will also film on LSU's Quad, featuring The Finebaum Show Friday afternoon and Marty & McGee Saturday morning. SEC Nation will play live from Baton Rouge on the SEC Network from 9-11 AM Central Standard Time this Saturday.
