The biggest storyline for LSU Football this week has been the upcoming Bayou Splash recruiting weekend. The Tigers are set to host an incredible group of recruits as they'll host five-star recruits in the 2025, 2026, and 2027 recruiting classes. This visit will give the Tigers the chance to cap off what's been an incredible month recruiting landing Zion Williams, Brandon Brown, Damien Shanklin, Derek Meadows, Jhase Thomas, and Dj Pickett.

The biggest priority this weekend may two-sport star, safety Jonah Williams who will be in Baton Rouge. The ninth ranked player in the class is also one of the Nation's top baseball recruits meaning Jay Johnson will join Brian Kelly on the pitch this weekend.

The good news keeps coming in for the Tigers on the recruiting trail as LSU has been given a crystal ball prediction to land Williams via On3's Billy Embody.

The pick comes just hours after Williams set his commitment date for August 24th where he'll pick between LSU, Texas, Texas A&M, Oregon, and USC.

This recruitment is likely far from over leading up to his commitment as every school in the final five likely feels great about where they're at except for USC. Landing Williams who's the tenth ranked player in the class and the top safety in the class would give LSU another player ranked the best at their position along with Bryce Underwood, Harlem Berry, and DJ Pickett.

This class could end up being a historic signing class

Heading into this final stretch of commitments, the LSU Tigers have put themselves in a solid place to pick up a few more five-star players to add to the third-ranked recruiting class in the country. The Tigers will have a hat on the table when five stars Kaliq Lockett, Jaime Ffrench, and Jonah Williams announce their commitments. LSU's push only continues to get stronger as Bryce Underwood, DJ Pickett, and Damien Shanklin continue to push hard to get fellow recruits to join them.
